Badgerys Creek – Public School

The site demonstrates the history of education and settlement in the region. It is located in the vicinity of two early churches and community hall and serves as an epicentre for a widely dispersed community. The school buildings are representative of the simple, functional design of educational buildings from the late 19th/early 20th century. The site’s setting in a semi-rural context adds to its aesthetic qualities. There is the potential to gain more information on the site from further architectural, archaeological and documentary research. image
