| Based on information from Claire Pfoeffer, her grandfather built 49 Clifton Street (including 47 & 49) c1900. This would accord with the release of the Blacktown Estate by C.J. Turner in the early 1900’s. Clifton Street appears in an area marked “Blacktown Estate 852 Lots 40 X 150 all sold and partly built on” on one of the C.J. Turner Auction Maps for the release of the neighbouring Headingly Estate 1913. Demolished c2005 for Sunnyholt Road Widening. |
