Bungarribee – Overseas Telecommunications Commission

The Overseas Telecommunications Commission (OTC) used the former Bungarribee house site, encompassing Doonside Road, Great Western Highway and Eastern Road, Doonside. In 1949 the Commonwealth government resumed land at Doonside to construct an international transmitting communications station for the Overseas Telecommunications Commission (OTC).
