Plumpton – Checkers – New Tribes Mission Homestead

Checkers is associated with the development of the Woodstock Estate by Walter Lamb in the 1870s and 1880s. The house was certainly built before his bankruptcy and subsequent subdivision of his Woodstock Estate in 1893.
