Plumpton – Liquor Store

The land on which the Shop at 331 stands is located within the original land holdings of Walter Lamb who purchased large areas of the Rooty Hill district in 1872 for grazing and farming land. The building at 331 originally held the Post office and was opened in 1889, and at this time the name of the village was changed to Plumpton. image
