| Thomas Burns, a farmer purchased this property in 1888 from Elizabeth Alma Lamzed and Welbourne Keally Lamzed and possibly built the house around that time. He died in 1898 leaving the property to his wife Johanna. Johanna died in May 1904 and the house was left to her six sons and one daughter. |  |
